It’s been 6 years since I’ve done some public speaking. I remember telling my late great friend Shelley Barnes …that God doesn’t play about me! No matter how far I get away from the Kingdom, HE pulls up on me when I get too far outside of HIS parameters and invites me to get in the car. I named these occurrences “The Long Car Ride Home” … and HE pulled up on me last month and I got in the 2 seater and his first question was…
“Aaron, where are we? Will you be honest about where you’ve been? Will you invite your friends on our ‘Long Car Ride Home?’” …
I said “Yes!”
He said “Your pain is beauty for ashes for others… so write it down and make it plain.”
I said, “Men don’t speak enough on their experiences. and how scandalous events and encounters happen to them highly often! We shoulder the betrayal because it’s embarrassing and heartbreaking and who wants to be that vulnerable??”
HE SAID… “Aaron, you want to be that vulnerable… cause I made you that way! And EVERYTHING I MAKE IS GOOD!!”
So I welcome all of you to “The Long Car Ride Home with God” … where I will share my experiences and my heart on matters of a mans heart. I hope my pain helps you prosper!
